Gnomes - Wil Huygen
Aimée Recommends…
Growing up in my house, both my parents worked in the arts so we had a heaving (near collapse) bookcase of art books. Tucked in amongst guides to textiles and brutalist architecture was my favourite book, ‘Gnomes’ by Wil Huygen.
I was obsessed with this weirdly wonderful guide to the history, culture and world of Gnomedom. The epic, realistic illustrations. The weird food choices. I couldn’t resist. After many years, it’s back in print and I’m thrilled. Warning though, there are some busty gnomes and some peachy gnome butts on show!
