Sophie Wyburd - Weds 9th October

£10.00

An evening of comfort food, conversation and finished with a good old cooking demo (audience approval samples, of course!)

On the 9th October we’ll be joined in the shop by the queen of simple, hearty and tasty, Sophie Wyburd, author of ‘Tucking In: A Very Comforting Cookbook’. This fantastic cookbook encapsulates the ethos that good food doesn’t have to be complicated food.

Whether it's a bowl of something warming for a Tuesday night, or a feast for friends squeezing around your table in mismatched chairs, these recipes make cooking a non-stressful affair. There are lots of easy wins in this book, from laidback traybakes such as Burst Chipotle Tomatoes with White Beans & Feta to moreish pastas including Chicken Butter & Pancetta Tagliatelle, as well as a handful of more adventurous mains such as Spiced Blackened Salmon Tacos or Celeriac Schnitzel with Charred Pepper Salsa.
